Hybrid de novo genome assembly data and comparative genomics of Fusarium chlamydosporum isolated from infected blackberry fieldsNCBINCBI/SRAZenodoNCBI

open access: yesData in Brief
Here, we present a dataset of ITS and β-tubulin sequences, along with a phylogenetic analysis using these molecular markers, for six putative Fusarium strains isolated from blackberry field soil. Additionally, we report the sequencing and hybrid assembly

Dual Lineages of Langerhans Cells Cooperate to Restore the Immune Barrier after Skin Injury

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
After skin injury, the epidermal immune barrier is rebuilt by two sources of Langerhans cells. Resident Langerhans cells first move into the wound during re‐epithelialization, guided by CXCR2 signaling. Later, recruited monocytes become long‐lived Langerhans cells.

The Natural Product Corramycin Acts as a DNA Gyrase Poison and Overcomes Fluoroquinolone Resistance in Mycobacterium tuberculosis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Corramycin, a myxobacterial natural product antibiotic, exhibits potent bactericidal activity against multidrug‐resistant Mycobacterium tuberculosis. The compound hijacks bacterial transporters such as BacA and OppABCD to enter the cell and inhibits DNA synthesis through a previously unrecognized mode of DNA gyrase poisoning, locking the enzyme in an ...

Transcriptome analysis reveals the role of host cell adhesion molecules in Scophthalmus maximus defense against Aeromonas salmonicida infection

open access: yesComparative Immunology Reports
The primary pathogen responsible for considerable economic losses in the farming of Scophthalmus maximus is Aeromonas salmonicida. To explore the initial immune response to an A. salmonicida infection in turbot, researchers utilized Illumina NovaSeq 6000

Pooling by iSeq correlates with pooling by NovaSeq.

open access: yes, 2019
265 libraries were pooled at equal volumes (0.5uL per library) using the Echo 525 and sequenced on the Illumina iSeq to a total combined depth of approximately 4.5 million reads (standard deviation indicated by green dashed lines).

Endothelial YAP Signaling Promotes Blood‐Spinal Cord Barrier Repair in Mice After Spinal Cord Injury

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Endothelial YAP is required for blood‐spinal cord barrier repair after spinal cord injury. YAP‐dependent vascular repair is associated with ANGPT1/PI3K/AKT signaling in vivo and may involve endothelial‐pericyte paracrine interactions. By supporting vascular remodeling, tight junction restoration, restored pericyte coverage, and astrocyte‐vascular ...

Tumor‐Derived Exosomal circAP2B1 Induces M2 Macrophage Polarization by Enhancing Mitochondrial Homeostasis to Promote Esophageal Squamous Cell Carcinoma Progression

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ESCC‐derived exosomal circAP2B1 promotes tumor progression by reprogramming mitochondrial metabolism via the ESRRA/KPNA1/MFN2 axis to induce M2 polarization of macrophages. ABSTRACT Esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) remodels the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment via exosome‐mediated intercellular communication.
