Dammarenediol II enhances etoposide‐induced apoptosis by targeting O‐GlcNAc transferase and Akt/GSK3β/mTOR signaling in liver cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Etoposide induces DNA damage, activating p53‐dependent apoptosis via caspase‐3/7, which cleaves PARP1. Dammarenediol II enhances this apoptotic pathway by suppressing O‐GlcNAc transferase activity, further decreasing O‐GlcNAcylation. The reduction in O‐GlcNAc levels boosts p53‐driven apoptosis and influences the Akt/GSK3β/mTOR signaling pathway ...

Enhancing Neural Radiance Fields with Adaptive Multi-Exposure Fusion: A Bilevel Optimization Approach for Novel View Synthesis

open access: yesAAAI Conference on Artificial Intelligence
Neural Radiance Fields (NeRF) have made significant strides in the modeling and rendering of 3D scenes. However, due to the complexity of luminance information, existing NeRF methods often struggle to produce satisfactory renderings when dealing with ...

TRAIL‐PEG‐Apt‐PLGA nanosystem as an aptamer‐targeted drug delivery system potential for triple‐negative breast cancer therapy using in vivo mouse model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

SatGS: Remote Sensing Novel View Synthesis Using Multi- Temporal Satellite Images with Appearance-Adaptive 3DGS

open access: yesRemote Sensing
Novel view synthesis of remote sensing scenes from satellite images is a meaningful but challenging task. Due to the wide temporal span of image acquisition, satellite image collections often exhibit significant appearance variations, such as seasonal ...

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

BrushGaussian: Brushstroke-Based Stylization for 3D Gaussian Splatting

open access: yesApplied Sciences
We present a method for enhancing 3D Gaussian Splatting primitives with brushstroke-aware stylization. Previous approaches to 3D style transfer are typically limited to color or texture modifications, lacking an understanding of artistic shape ...

Adjustable Visual Appearance for Generalizable Novel View Synthesis

open access: yes
We present a generalizable novel view synthesis method which enables modifying the visual appearance of an observed scene so rendered views match a target weather or lighting condition without any scene specific training or access to reference views at the target condition.

Cotargeting TREM2 and IL2 pathways triggers multipronged anticancer immunity

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Von Locquenghien et al. report that MiTE‐144, a triggering receptor expressed on myeloid cells 2 (TREM2) blocking antibody fused to interleukin‐2 (IL2) variant with tumour microenvironment restricted activation, demonstrates superior anticancer efficiency in a preclinical setting.
