Preparation and determining of a number of elemental complexes with hydrazone ligand derived from ibuprofen [PDF]
This study addresses the synthesis and characterization of seven new complexes of a hydrazone ligand derived from a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (ibuprofen) via condensation with p-nitroacetophenone, followed by reaction with cobalt(II), nickel ...

ABSTRACT Platelet transfusions to treat bleeding complications use donor‐derived platelets stored at room‐temperature, that have a shelf‐life of only 5–7 days due to bacterial contamination risks. Cold‐stored and freeze‐dried platelets are being investigated for extending shelf‐life, but these still have the inherent challenge of donor‐dependency.

(a) The outstanding lubricative properties of natural articular cartilage arise from a composite coating composed of HA, lubricin, and phospholipids at its surface. Notably, lubricin facilitates the enrichment of synovial HA onto cartilage surfaces, and HA complexes with phospholipids, a key component to maintain extremely low friction under high ...

This study reveals the dual role of celecoxib in intervertebral disc degeneration. While low concentrations are protective, high concentrations induce toxicity by upregulating HSP90, which synergizes with USP15 to deubiquitinate and stabilize RBX1. This leads to degradation of COMMD1/ATP7B, copper dyshomeostasis, and ultimately, cuproptosis.

Effects of NSAIDs on Muscle Performance and Exercise Recovery [PDF]
openNon-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) are widely used by athletes to manage pain and inflammation, and some believe they might help improve performance. However, their actual effects on muscle performance and recovery are not entirely clear.

The TPR‐LYTACs nanomaterial offers a dual‐pathway strategy for precise gouty arthritis treatment by targeting and degrading the ROS‐producing enzyme NOX2 inside macrophages while its antioxidant core clears accumulated ROS outside. This “source inhibition and microenvironment scavenging” approach, guided by NIR‐II imaging, effectively controls local ...
