Non-polarizing two-atom interaction potential in the liquid He-4 [PDF]

A formula for potential U of the He-4--He-4 interaction in the liquid state is obtained by the direct electromagnetic computation as a function of the interatomic distance R. The potential decreases exponentially at large R. The further development and application of the result are discussed.

Spatially selective loading of an optical lattice by light-shift engineering using an auxiliary laser field [PDF]

We report on a method of light-shift engineering where an auxiliary laser is used to tune the atomic transition frequency. The technique is used to selectively load a specific region of an optical lattice. The results are explained by calculating the differential light-shift of each hyperfine state.

The impact of frailty syndrome on skeletal muscle histology: preventive effects of exercise

Frailty syndrome exacerbates skeletal muscle degeneration via increased ECM deposition and myofiber loss. This study, using a murine model, demonstrates that endurance exercise attenuates these histopathological alterations, preserving muscle integrity. Findings support exercise as a viable strategy to counteract frailty‐induced musculoskeletal decline
