EVALUATED EMPIRICAL SYSTEMATICS OF (n, n alpha) REACTION CROSS-SECTIONS AT 14 - 15 MeV INCIDENT ENERGY [PDF]
WOS: 000500737900004In this study, the asymmetry parameter-included empirical equation proposed by Tel et al. has been applied for (n, n alpha) reaction at 14 - 15 MeV energies.

BCL9 and BCL9L drive bladder cancer progression by enhancing β‐catenin signaling, promoting proliferation, migration, invasion, and organoid growth. Genetic depletion of BCL9(L) suppresses malignant phenotypes, while pharmacological disruption of the β‐catenin/BCL9(L) complex with ZW4864 inhibits canonical Wnt signaling and tumor‐associated cellular ...

Deep Neural Networks for Modeling Astrophysical Nuclear Reacting Flows
In astrophysical simulations, nuclear reacting flows pose computational challenges due to the stiffness of reaction networks. We introduce neural network-based surrogate models using the DeePODE framework to enhance simulation efficiency while ...

Risk communication between experts and the public: perceptions and intentions [PDF]
This paper develops a conceptual and theoretical analysis of risk communication in cases where experts and the public have widely divergent views of the dimensions of a risk.

Detecting circulating tumor cells (CTCs) in blood before surgery may help predict outcomes in patients with head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC). Here, we show when combined with tumor size and lymph node involvement from routine imaging, CTC status identifies high‐risk patients with poorer survival—offering a simple, minimally invasive tool ...

Nuclear models relevant to evaluation [PDF]
The widespread use of nuclear models continues in the creation of data evaluations. The reasons include extension of data evaluations to higher energies, creation of data libraries for isotopic components of natural materials, and production of ...

Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering captures how proteins change shape in real time under near‐native conditions. This article presents a practical workflow for light‐triggered TR‐XSS experiments, from data collection to structural refinement. Using a calcium‐transporting membrane protein as an example, the approach can be broadly applied to study ...

This study explores the feasibility of expressing the antitumoral protein Amblyomin‐X through a suicide gene therapy approach and investigates its intracellular fate after gene delivery. Although the gene is efficiently expressed, melanoma cells rapidly degrade the Amblyomin‐X protein via proteasome activity.
