Universal Method for Covalent Attachment of Hydrogels to Diverse Polymeric Surfaces for Biomedical Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A universal, reagent‐free strategy is presented for covalently attaching hydrogels to diverse polymeric substrates through reactive oxygen species. The scalable, linker‐free approach enables robust adhesion and broad material compatibility, advancing the fabrication of hybrid solid–hydrogel systems for next‐generation biomedical devices and bioprinting

Dendrimers Improve Apolipoprotein Nanoparticle mRNA Delivery to Immune Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Apolipoprotein nanoparticle (aNP) platform technology efficiently delivers RNA to immune cells following systemic administration. Here, it is demonstrated that incorporating polyvalent ionizable cationic dendrimers in aNPs enables robust mRNA complexation and functional delivery.

Polyphenol‐Mediated Engineering of Lipid Nanoparticles With Crystalline Mesophases

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A polyphenol‐mediated strategy enables the one‐step formation of lipid nanoparticles with nonlamellar mesophases, including micellar cubic and hexagonal structures. These highly ordered nanostructures accommodate a wide range of cargos—from metal ions to mRNA—and offer a modular and versatile platform for constructing functional lipid‐based delivery ...

Intrinsically Disordered Protein‐Inspired Nanovector‐Based Coacervates for the Direct Cytosolic Transport of Biomacromolecules

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Intrinsically disordered protein‐inspired nanovectors (IDP‐NVs) form stable nanocoacervates (NCs) with diverse biomacromolecules. In situ conformational changes confer stability and adaptability to NCs under dynamically changing physiological conditions.
