Teratoid Hepatoblastoma: Clinicopathologic Features and Outcomes

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Teratoid hepatoblastoma (HB) is a rare histologic subtype of the most common pediatric liver cancer. Understanding of the clinicopathologic features and outcomes of patients with this disease is currently limited. Methods Multi‐institution, retrospective chart review was conducted to compare 20 children with teratoid HB to 129 ...

The Nucleolus in the Induced Amitosis

open access: yesJournal of Experimental Botany, 1975
Nucleolar cycles were related to mitotic and amitotic phases in meristematic cells of Allium cepa L. roots growing in control conditions and in others where amitosis was induced by a 6-h treatment with ethidium bromide. The induced amitosis in these cells was followed by an unbalanced distribution of chromosomal material between the two independent ...

Active Armoring of Protocell Condensates with Metal‐Phenolic Networks

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
This study demonstrates the removable membranization of protocell condensates using redox‐active metal‐phenolic networks (MPNs). The MPN membrane stabilizes the condensates, prevents fusion, and provides active protection against external reductants. The system's redox‐responsive properties highlight its potential for creating dynamic protocell models ...

Systematic analysis of A-to-I RNA editing upon release of ADAR from the nucleolus

open access: yesRNA Biology
Adenosine-to-inosine (A-to-I) RNA editing, catalysed by two ADAR isoforms (p110 and p150) and ADARB1, is a critical regulatory step in gene expression.

A Facile Platform for One‐Step Generation of Uniform Microdroplets through Dehydration‐Driven Phase Separation in Microfluidics

open access: yesSmall Methods, EarlyView.
This study introduces a novel droplet generation method that exploits the intrinsic water absorption of polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) microchannels. A homogeneous polyethylene glycol/dextran mixture is gradually dehydrated, leading to phase separation and the formation of uniform DEX‐rich droplets.

Photoacoustic integrated multimodal imaging for breast cancer diagnosis: A review

open access: yesVIEW, EarlyView.
Breast cancer is a complex and challenging to diagnose. This study highlights how combining photoacoustic imaging with traditional techniques like mammography, histopathology, ultrasound, MRI, CT, and artificial intelligence can improve diagnosis, tumor classification, and managing.
