Primary cutaneous NUT adnexal carcinoma: morphologic, genetic and methylation analysis of seven new cases with comparison to extracutaneous NUT carcinoma and NUTM1‐rearranged porocarcinoma

open access: yesHistopathology, EarlyView.
Microscopic features of a NUTM1 adnexal carcinoma magnification. This neoplasm consisted of large, poorly demarcated tumors, sometimes ulcerated infiltrated the dermis and subcutaneous tissue (HPS ×10). The lesions were organized in strands, cords and larger solid nests of poorly differentiated cells characterized by enlarged, irregular nuclei (HPS ×20)

Data set for reporting paediatric renal tumours: recommendations from the international collaboration on cancer reporting (ICCR)

open access: yesHistopathology, EarlyView.
This is the first international data set, to our knowledge, produced by the International Collaboration on Cancer Reporting (ICCR) for the reporting of resection specimens of paediatric renal tumours with the aim of standardising pathology reports, facilitating international data comparisons and improving patient management globally.

Role of Atg3, Atg5 and Atg12 in the crosstalk between apoptosis and autophagy in the posterior silk gland of Bombyx mori

open access: yesInsect Molecular Biology, Volume 34, Issue 3, Page 470-485, June 2025.
Autophagy‐related genes exert their effects not only by regulating autophagy but also by modulating apoptosis. This study provided evidence for anti‐apoptotic effects of Atg3 and Atg5 and pro‐apoptotic effects of Atg12 in the posterior silk gland.

Testing non‐lethal techniques for endoparasite detection and sex determination in pumpkinseed sunfish (Lepomis gibbosus)

open access: yesJournal of Fish Biology, EarlyView.
Abstract Developing non‐lethal techniques to estimate parasite infection is critical for studying disease ecology in wild animals. We tested the effectiveness of coelomic ultrasonographic examination and plasma enzyme markers to detect liver infection with bass tapeworms Proteocephalus ambloplitis (Leidy 1887) as well as the effectiveness of ultrasound
