Mixed-Degree Cubature H∞ Information Filter-Based Visual-Inertial Odometry
Visual–inertial odometry is an effective system for mobile robot navigation. This article presents an egomotion estimation method for a dual-sensor system consisting of a camera and an inertial measurement unit (IMU) based on the cubature information ...

A PERFORMANCE EVALUATION OF TRAPEZOIDAL VARIANTS FOR NUMERICAL CUBATURE
In this work, double integration cubature schemes of Trapezoid type have been focused. Recently, some derivative-based Trapezoid-type schemes have been proposed in literature incorporating derivatives at means of the limits of integration. We carry out the exhaustive performance evaluation of the existing closed Newton-Cotes Trapezoidal (CNCT) double ...

Numerical Cubature from Archimedes' Hat-box Theorem [PDF]
Archimedes' hat-box theorem states that uniform measure on a sphere projects to uniform measure on an interval. This fact can be used to derive Simpson's rule. We present various constructions of, and lower bounds for, numerical cubature formulas using moment maps as a generalization of Archimedes' theorem.

Adaptive Non-Linear Joint Probabilistic Data Association for Vehicle Target Tracking
This paper investigated the problem of multi-target tracking (MTT) over a vehicle sensor network. A novel adaptive square root cubature joint probabilistic data association (ASRCJPDA) was proposed.

Scaled boundary cubature scheme for numerical integration over planar regions with affine and curved boundaries [PDF]
This paper introduces the scaled boundary cubature (SBC) scheme for accurate and efficient integration of functions over polygons and two-dimensional regions bounded by parametric curves. Over two-dimensional domains, the SBC method reduces integration over a region bounded by $m$ curves to integration over $m$ regions (referred to as curved triangular

Spherical Simplex-Radial Cubature Quadrature Kalman Filter
A spherical simplex-radial cubature quadrature Kalman filter (SSRCQKF) is proposed in order to further improve the nonlinear filtering accuracy. The Gaussian probability weighted integral of the nonlinear function is decomposed into spherical integral ...

Spherical Orthogonal Polynomials and Symbolic-Numeric Gaussian Cubature Formulas [PDF]
It is well-known that the classical univariate orthogonal polynomials give rise to highly efficient Gaussian quadrature rules. We show how the classical orthogonal polynomials can be generalized to a multivariate setting and how this generalization leads to Gaussian cubature rules for specific families of multivariate polynomials.
