Non‐Linear Reduced Order Modelling of Transonic Potential Flows for Fast Aerodynamic Analysis

open access: yesInternational Journal for Numerical Methods in Engineering, Volume 127, Issue 2, 30 January 2026.
ABSTRACT This work presents a physics‐based reduced order modelling (ROM) framework for the efficient simulation of steady transonic potential flows around aerodynamic configurations. The approach leverages proper orthogonal decomposition and a least‐squares Petrov‐Galerkin (LSPG) projection to construct intrusive ROMs for the full potential equation ...

Analytical computation of moderate-degree fully-symmetric cubature rules on the triangle [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
A method is developed to compute analytically fully symmetric cubature rules on the triangle by using symmetric polynomials to express the two kinds of invariance inherent in these rules.

Dynamic Stability Analysis of Multi‐Infeed Wind Power System With Composite Dynamic Short Circuit Ratio

open access: yesIET Generation, Transmission &Distribution, Volume 20, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
A GEDMM is proposed to represent the MIWPS as multiple VSISs and model each of them as the VTDS2M whose unknown parameters are identified with the proposed hybrid optimized square root cubature Kalman filter (HOSRCKF). To solve the issues that the physical meanings of existing short circuit ratios (SCRs) are unclear and the critical values of existing ...

From low to high-dimensional moments without magic

open access: yes, 2017
We aim to compute the first few moments of a high-dimensional random vector from the first few moments of a number of its low-dimensional projections.

Adaptive High Manoeuvring Target Tracking Algorithm Based on CNN‐LSTM Fusion Architecture

open access: yesIET Radar, Sonar &Navigation, Volume 20, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
To solve the problems of model switching lag and tracking accuracy decline in interacting multiple model (IMM) algorithm in complex manoeuvring target tracking, an adaptive interacting multiple model unscented Kalman filter (IMM‐UKF) algorithm based on convolutional neural network and long short‐term memory network (CNN‐LSTM) fusion architecture is ...

On a class of embedded cubature formulae on the simplex

open access: yesACI Avances en Ciencias e Ingenierías, 2014
In this paper we investigate a class of embedded cubature formulae on the simplex announced in [1]. Here we recall the class of formulae, we introduce the remainder and we give an estimation of this, we also investigate the convergence.

A Robust Adaptive Cubature Kalman Filter Based on SVD for Dual-Antenna GNSS/MIMU Tightly Coupled Integration

open access: yesRemote Sensing, 2021
In complex urban environments, a single Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) is often not ideal for navigation due to a lack of sufficient visible satellites.

Computing the demagnetizing tensor for finite difference micromagnetic simulations via numerical integration

open access: yes, 2015
In the finite difference method which is commonly used in computational micromagnetics, the demagnetizing field is usually computed as a convolution of the magnetization vector field with the demagnetizing tensor that describes the magnetostatic field of

A Tightly Coupled Fusion Positioning Method Based on Particle Filtering With Effective Particle Neighbourhood Attraction Optimisation

open access: yesIET Radar, Sonar &Navigation, Volume 20, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
To address the limitations of existing wireless and inertial navigation systems, this paper proposes a high‐precision integrated positioning scheme based on particle filtering. The method introduces a high‐weight particle neighbourhood attraction mechanism to solve the common issue of particle degeneracy.

On numerical cubatures of singular surface integrals in boundary element methods

open access: yesNumerische Mathematik, 1992
Cubature formulae for the accurate and efficient evaluation of weakly, Cauchy and hypersingular integrals over piecewise analytic curved surfaces in \(\mathbb{R}^ 3\) are derived. Asymptotic estimates of the integration error are also presented.
