Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

Comparisons between analogue and numerical models of thrust wedge development
Analogue and finite element numerical models with frictional and viscous properties are used to model thrust wedge development. Comparison between model types yields valuable information about analogue model evolution, scaling laws and the relative ...

The ubiquitin ligase RNF115 is required for the clearance of damaged lysosomes
Upon lysosomal rupture, an E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF115 translocates from the cytosol to the damaged lysosomal membrane. Moreover, RNF115 depletion impairs the clearance of damaged lysosomes, identifying it as a key regulator of lysosomal quality control.

Numerical conformal mapping of exterior domains
The work of the present paper is closely related to the two numerical procedures described in [11], for determining approximations to the function which maps conformally a bounded simply-connected domain Ω1 , with boundary ∂Ω, onto the unit disc.

3D numerical simulation of Circulating Fluidized Bed: comparison between theoretical results and experimental measurements of hydrodynamic [PDF]
This work was realized in the frame of the European GAYA project supported by ADEME. This paper presents a description of the hydrodynamic into a CFB according to experimental measurements of gas pressure and solid mass flux.

Plasma membranes contain dynamic nanoscale domains that organize lipids and receptors. Because viruses operate at similar scales, this architecture shapes early infection steps, including attachment, receptor engagement, and entry. Using influenza A virus and HIV‐1 as examples, we highlight how receptor nanoclusters, multivalent glycan interactions ...

The development of computational FE system for creep damage analysis of weldment
A Finite Element Analysis (FEA) system was designed for the analysis of creep deformation and damage evolution in weldment. This project essentially consists of three parts which involves 1) transfer programme development, 2) numerical integration ...

Embryo‐like structures (stembryos) are an innovative tool, but they are hindered by experimental variability and limited developmental potential. DNA methylation is crucial for mammalian development, but its status in stembryo models is poorly characterized.
