An integral equation–based numerical method for the forced heat equation on complex domains [PDF]
AbstractIntegral equation–based numerical methods are directly applicable to homogeneous elliptic PDEs and offer the ability to solve these with high accuracy and speed on complex domains. In this paper, such a method is extended to the heat equation with inhomogeneous source terms.

Numerical solution of certain Cauchy singular integral equations using a collocation scheme
The present study is devoted to developing a computational collocation technique for solving the Cauchy singular integral equation of the second kind (CSIE-2). Although, several studies have investigated the numerical approximation solution of CSIEs, the

ABSTRACT Introduction Patients requiring long‐term continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) generally have poor prognoses. This study evaluated whether adding continuous intravenous sodium infusion (cIVNa) is associated with improved hemodynamics and outcomes in patients undergoing long‐term CRRT for ≥ 7 days.

Protein pyrophosphorylation by inositol pyrophosphates — detection, function, and regulation
Protein pyrophosphorylation is an unusual signaling mechanism that was discovered two decades ago. It can be driven by inositol pyrophosphate messengers and influences various cellular processes. Herein, we summarize the research progress and challenges of this field, covering pathways found to be regulated by this posttranslational modification as ...

On the Analysis of Numerical Methods for Nonstandard Volterra Integral Equation [PDF]
We consider the numerical solutions of a class of nonlinear (nonstandard) Volterra integral equation. We prove the existence and uniqueness of the one point collocation solutions and the solution by the repeated trapezoidal rule for the nonlinear Volterra integral equation.
