Printed Integrated Logic Circuits Based on Chitosan‐Gated Organic Transistors for Future Edible Systems

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Edible electronics needs integrated logic circuits for computation and control. This work presents a potentially edible printed chitosan‐gated transistor with a design optimized for integration in circuits. Its implementation in integrated logic gates and circuits operating at low voltage (0.7 V) is demonstrated, as well as the compatibility with an ...

[Selective nutrient medium for the isolation of Bacillus cereus].

open access: yesZhurnal mikrobiologii, epidemiologii i immunobiologii, 2005
A selective dried medium for the isolation of B. cereus from clinical material and foodstuffs has been developed. The medium has high selective properties which ensure the isolation of B. cereus from microbial association in pure culture, thus making it possible to accelerate further identification of the microorganisms.

Laser‐Induced Graphene from Waste Almond Shells

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Almond shells, an abundant agricultural by‐product, are repurposed to create a fully bioderived almond shell/chitosan composite (ASC) degradable in soil. ASC is converted into laser‐induced graphene (LIG) by laser scribing and proposed as a substrate for transient electronics.

[Domestic chromogenic nutrient medium for differentiation of Klebsiella].

open access: yesKlinicheskaia laboratornaia diagnostika, 2010
Studies to design a dry chromogenic nutrient medium for the diferentiation of Klebsiella were under way, by detecting the intracellular Klebsiella genus-specific enzyme of human potential pathogenicity--5-aminosalicylate decarboxylase. The composition of the proposed medium that ensured its high sensitivity and improved its differentiating properties ...

Biomass Native Structure Into Functional Carbon‐Based Catalysts for Fenton‐Like Reactions

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study indicates that eight biomasses with 2D flaky and 1D acicular structures influence surface O types, morphology, defects, N doping, sp2 C, and Co nanoparticles loading in three series of carbon, N‐doped carbon, and cobalt/graphitic carbon. This work identifies how these structural factors impact catalytic pathways, enhancing selective electron

Increase the operating efficiency of the equipment for the liquid nutrient medium sterilization

open access: yes, 2018
The irrelevant microflora in liquid nutrient media suppresses the growth of the culture of microorganisms, as well as changes the composition and properties of the nutrient medium, so it needs to be sterilized.

Composites of Shellac and Silver Nanowires as Flexible, Biobased, and Corrosion‐Resistant Transparent Conductive Electrodes

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Shellac, a centuries‐old natural resin, is reimagined as a green material for flexible electronics. When combined with silver nanowires, shellac films deliver transparency, conductivity, and stability against humidity. These results position shellac as a sustainable alternative to synthetic polymers for transparent conductors in next‐generation ...
