Comparative activity of dimethyl fumarate derivative IDMF in three models relevant to multiple sclerosis and psoriasis

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
IDMF is a derivative of dimethyl fumarate (DMF) with a unique therapeutic potential at the intersection of psoriasis and multiple sclerosis. Here, we demonstrate that it compares favorably with DMF and its other derivatives, such as Diroximel, in the zebrafish, microglia, and lymphocyte models.

Bioengineering facets of the tumor microenvironment in 3D tumor models: insights into cellular, biophysical and biochemical interactions

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
The tumor microenvironment is a dynamic, multifaceted complex system of interdependent cellular, biochemical, and biophysical components. Three‐dimensional in vitro models of the tumor microenvironment enable a better understanding of these interactions and their impact on cancer progression and therapeutic resistance.

Multi-study factor regression model: an application in nutritional epidemiology [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2023
Diet is a risk factor for many diseases. In nutritional epidemiology, studying reproducible dietary patterns is critical to reveal important associations with health. However, it is challenging: diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds may critically impact eating patterns, showing heterogeneity, leading to incorrect dietary patterns and obscuring the ...
