We identify a Lepidoptera‐conserved testis‐specific arylalkylamine N‐acetyltransferase (LTNAT) that governs male moth fertility via a novel mechanism. LTNAT loss disrupts eupyrene sperm mitochondrial derivatives and impairs apyrene sperm motility, offering a safe molecular target for innovative pesticides and genetic pest control.

Recent Trends in Metabolomics by NMR Spectroscopy
AI tools were applied to analyze more than 5 000 publications indexed in Scopus (2018–2025), identifying key trends and research directions in NMR‐based metabolomics. The artificial intelligence‐assisted workflow classified papers into six main fields of application, human health, food and nutrition, veterinary science, plants, environment, and ...

A reinforcement learning theory for homeostatic regulation [PDF]
Reinforcement learning models address animal’s behavioral adaptation to its changing “external” environment, and are based on the assumption that Pavlovian, habitual and goal-directed responses seek to maximize reward acquisition.

Alternating High‐Fat and Polysaccharide Diets Modulates Gut Phage‐Bacterial Interplay
This study reveals how alternating high‐fat and polysaccharide diets reshape the human gut virome and enhance phage‐bacteria interactions. Using large‐scale metagenomic meta‐analysis and a time‐resolved mouse model, the authors show that diets strongly modulate phage abundance, lifestyle, and gene exchange, offering new insights into nutrition‐guided ...

Plant long non-coding RNAs: identification and analysis to unveil their physiological functions
Eukaryotic genomes encode thousands of RNA molecules; however, only a minimal fraction is translated into proteins. Among the non-coding elements, long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) play important roles in diverse biological processes. LncRNAs are associated

Mathematical Modeling of Transport and Degradation of Feedstuffs in the Small Intestine [PDF]
We describe a mathematical modeling of the digestion in the small intestine. The main interest of our work is to consider, at the same time, different aspects of the digestion i.e.

Soybean employs its circadian clock, governed by GmCCA1, to rhythmically defend against soybean cyst nematodes. The pathogen retaliates by secreting the effector Hg4E02, which hijacks the clock to suppress defense and co‐opt the host's translation machinery for nutrient acquisition.
