Lipopolysaccharide heterogeneity in strains ofSerratia marcescens agglutinated by O14 antiserum
Current Microbiology, 1988Lipopolysaccharides (LPS) from 71 strains ofSerratia marcescens that were agglutinated by O14 antiserum were examined by SDS-PAGE. Four major profiles were found, designated LPS1 to LPS4. These groups accounted for 51, 7, 5, and 3 strains respectively. Five strains were unclassified.

Deletion of the Escherichia coli O14:K7 O antigen gene cluster
Canadian Journal of Microbiology, 2004Escherichia coli O14:K7 is a rough strain, lacking a typical O antigen, in which the enterobacterial common antigen is attached to the lipopolysaccharide core. The rough phenotype was previously mapped to the O antigen gene cluster; however, the nature of the nonfunctional locus was not defined.

Structure elucidation and gene cluster characterization of the O-antigen of Vibrio cholerae O14
Carbohydrate Research, 2019The O-polysaccharide (O-antigen) of Vibrio cholerae O14 was studied using chemical analyses and 1D and 2D NMR spectroscopy. The following structure of the repeating unit of the O-antigen was established: where GlcpN(SHb) indicates 2-deoxy-2-[(S)-3-hydroxybutanoylamino]-d-glucose.

The exchange transfer reaction Al27(N14, Mg27)O14
Nuclear Physics, 1960Abstract The thick target yield was measured for the reaction Al 27 (N 14 ,Mg 27 )O 14 , which may be described as a simultaneous transfer of a neutron from one nucleus and a proton from the other. Mg 27 was chemically separated and thick target yields were measured by absolute γ-counting.
