Room Temperature Fabrication of Binder‐Free Na3V2(PO4)3/C High‐Loading Electrode Films via the Powder Aerosol Deposition Method

open access: yesBatteries &Supercaps, Volume 9, Issue 2, February 2026.
Na3V2(PO4)3/C cathodes were fabricated on Al substrates via powder aerosol deposition and compared with tape‐cast electrodes. Despite high active‐material loading, powder aerosol deposition (PAD) films show limited utilization due to dense microstructure–restricted ion transport.

The role of gender in firm-level climate change adaptation behaviour: Insights from small businesses in Senegal and Kenya

open access: yesClimate Risk Management
Literature on gender and climate change adaptation tends to propose that women are both especially vulnerable to climate change and especially valuable to climate change adaptation, but these ideas have been little considered in the context of adaptation

First Principles Calculations of Ionic Vibrational Frequencies in PbMg1/3Nb2/3O3

open access: yes, 2003
Lattice dynamics for several ordered supercells with composition PbMg1/3Nb2/3O (PMN) were calculated with first-principles frozen phonon methods. Nominal symmetries of the supercells studied are reduced by lattice instabilities.

Effect of a Spray Containing Occlusive Agents, Humectants and Physiological Lipids on Skin Hydration of Healthy Dogs When Applied After Bathing With a Chlorhexidine 2%/Miconazole 2% Shampoo

open access: yesVeterinary Dermatology, Volume 37, Issue 1, Page 140-147, February 2026.
Background: Normal hydration of the canine epidermis is imperative for cutaneous homeostasis. Xerosis may be encountered in canine atopic dermatitis and may be aggravated by topical antiseptics. Hypothesis and Objectives: To evaluate the hydrating properties and the safety of a spray (Sensiderm spray; MP Labo) when applied after shampooing healthy dogs

Schiff Base Compound of (E)‐1‐(((4‐chloro‐2‐hydroxyphenyl)imino)methyl)naphthalen‐2‐ol as CDK2 Inhibitory Agent: Structural Characterization, Density Functional Theory Computational, and In Silico studies

open access: yesChemistry &Biodiversity, Volume 23, Issue 1, January 2026.
ABSTRACT Compound (E)‐1‐(((4‐chloro‐2‐hydroxyphenyl)imino)methyl)naphthalen‐2‐ol (HNC) was prepared by the reaction between 2‐hydroxynaphthyl‐1‐carboxaldehyde and 2‐amino‐5‐chlorophenol in an equimolar ratio and obtained in moderate yield. HNC was characterized using physicochemical and various spectroscopic techniques.

Potassium–chloride cotransporter 2 activity dampens induced ictal‐like activity in neocortical slices containing the seizure propagation zone of temporal lobe epilepsy patients

open access: yesEpilepsia, Volume 67, Issue 1, Page 499-516, January 2026.
The K⁺/Cl− cotransporter (KCC2) limits induced ictal‐like events and their spread in the supragranular layer of human neocortical slices from the seizure‐propagation zone of temporal lobe epilepsy patients. Cl⁻ extrusion is present in supragranular pyramidal neurons but limited under high somatic Cl⁻ load.
