MPEC 2023-O18 : 2020 XH1

2023
The Minor Planet Electronic Circulars contain information on unusual minor planets, routine data on comets and natural satellites, and occasional editorial announcements. They are published on behalf of Division F of the International Astronomical Union by the Minor Planet Center, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, Cambridge, MA 02138, U.S.A.

Das Atomgewicht des Sauerstoffisotops O18

Zeitschrift fr Physik, 1930

Core excitation in O18

Nuclear Physics, 1965
Abstract The low-lying even-parity energy levels of O 18 are calculated within the shell model. Core excitations from the double closed O 16 system have been taken explicitly into account using the SU 3 coupling scheme. The resulting energy spectrum shows nice agreement with experiments for nearly all states below 6 MeV excitation energy.

A study of the reactions O17(He3,α0), O18(He3,α0) and O18(He3,α1)

Nuclear Physics, 1965
Abstract The angular distribution of the alpha particles from each of the reactions O 17 ( He 3 , α 0 ) O 16 , O 17 ( He 3 ,α 0 ), O 18 ( He 3 ,α 0 ) and O 18 ( He 3 ,α 1 ) O 17∗ has been measured over an angular range of 0–160° at thirteen values of ...

Structural refinement of hydrous and anhydrous synthetic beryl, Al2(Be3Si6)O18 and emerald, Al1.9Cr0.1 (Be3Si6)O18

Lithos, 1968
The positional and thermal parameters of synthetic forms of hydrous beryl and emerald and of anhydrous beryl and emerald were refined by least-squares and difference Fourier methods using 3D data recorded with a counter diffractometer. The mean Be−O and Si−O bond distances determined for the four crystals are statistically identical and measure on the

Structure of the O18 antigen from Acinetobacter baumannii

Carbohydrate Research, 1997
The polymeric O antigen was obtained from lipopolysaccharide extracted from isolated, defatted cell walls of the reference strain for Acinetobacter baumannii serogroup O18. Monosaccharide analyses and NMR spectra established that the polymer had a regular structure with a repeating unit based on residues of D-galactose (2), N-acetyl-D-galactosamine (1),

The O16 (t, pγ)O18 reaction

Nuclear Physics, 1963
Abstract Differential cross-sections and proton-gamma-ray angular correlation functions in the reaction plane at six different proton angles, have been measured for the O 16 (t, pγ) O 18 reaction through the first excited state (1.98 MeV) of O 18 , using tritons of energy 5 MeV.

The O18-abundance in fresh water

Geochimica et Cosmochimica Acta, 1954
Fresh water of various origins as distinct from ocean water shows great variations in O18-abundance. Proceeding from the temperate towards the colder climates a considerable decrease is noticeable. It is demonstrated that the O18-abundance in atmospheric water vapour is dependent on (a) the precipitation temperature, (b) the origin of the vapour and

Die Energiespektren der Photoprotonen aus C13 und O18

Zeitschrift fr Physik, 1964
The energy spectra of photoprotons from C13 and O18 were investigated with 31,5 MeV bremsstrahlung from the Heidelberg betatron using a CsI(Tl)-spectrometer. The spectra are compared to those of C12 and O16. Yield values and cross sections are given.

Energy levels of O18 with separable potential

Nuclear Physics, 1965
Energy levels of O18 have been calculated for a non-local separable potential using the reaction matrix of Brueckner's theory of the many-body problem. Only 2s12 and 1d52 configurations have been considered. The order of the levels is in agreement with the experimental spectrum.
