Background — Anal sac impaction is common in dogs and manual expression may be effective, yet recurrence remains a problem. To facilitate physiological emptying of the sacs, it is important to maintain a bulky stool consistency. Objectives — The study evaluated if supplementation with ProGlan, a complementary feed containing Bacillus velezensis C‐3102 ...

Ionic liquid (IL) is injected into hollow silicon nanorods (HSNRs) to prepare composite solid polymer electrolyte (CSPE) with aligned HSNRs containing ILs (F‐ILs@HSNRs). CSPE with F‐ILs@HSNRs perpendicular to electrodes has the shortest Li+ fast migration pathways, with 125 times and 184% improvements in conductivity and lithium‐ion migration number ...

Cryptic post-transition state bifurcations that reduce the efficiency of lactone-forming Rh-carbenoid C-H insertions. [PDF]
Byproducts of chemical reactions are generally thought to result from the competition between two reaction pathways, each with its own rate-determining transition state structure.

Spontaneous Formation of Solid Shell Polymeric Multicompartments at All‐Aqueous Interfaces
The batch production of multi‐core polymeric capsules with unconventional architectures is reported. Separation phenomena happening at the polyelectrolyte complexation interface are hypothesized to drive the formation of the capsules. These materials are prepared in mild conditions compatible with cell encapsulation.

Five new INTEGRAL unidentified hard X-Ray sources uncovered by Chandra
The IBIS imager on board INTEGRAL, with a sensitivity better than a mCrab in deep observations and a point source location accuracy of the order of few arcminutes, has localized so far 723 hard X-ray sources in the 17--100 keV energy band, of which a ...
