Inhibition of proton sensor GPR68 suppresses endothelial dysfunction and acute lung injury caused by Staphylococcus aureus bacterial particles. [PDF]
Staphylococcus aureus infections increase the expression and activity of GPR68, which leads to endothelial dysfunction, ultimately causing acute lung injury. Acidosis further enhances S. aureus‐mediated increase in the expression and activity of GPR68. Inhibition of GPR68 with OGM protects against S.

Leptonic Charged Higgs Decays in the Zee Model [PDF]
We consider the version of the Zee model where both Higgs doublets couple to leptons. Within this framework we study charged Higgs decays. We focus on a model with minimal number of parameters consistent with experimental neutrino data. Using constraints

Effects of Nutrients on Quorum Signals and Secondary Metabolite Productions of Burkholderia sp. O33
Several bioactive metabolites, including pyrrolnitrin, Nacylhomoserine lactones, and polyhydroxyalkanoates were isolated from Burkholderia sp. O33. Effects of various nutrients, including sugars, gluconolactone, glycerol, tryptophan, chloride, and zinc were investigated in relation to the production of these metabolites.

A Complete Supersymmetric SO(10) Model [PDF]
A complete supersymmetric SO(10) model is constructed, which is the most general consistent with certain $R$, discrete, and $U(1)$ flavor symmetries. The desired vacuum of the theory has vevs which lie in particular directions of group space.
