Inhibitor of DNA binding‐1 is a key regulator of cancer cell vasculogenic mimicry
Elevated expression of transcriptional regulator inhibitor of DNA binding 1 (ID1) promoted cancer cell‐mediated vasculogenic mimicry (VM) through regulation of pro‐angiogenic and pro‐cancerous genes (e.g. VE‐cadherin (CDH5), TIE2, MMP9, DKK1). Higher ID1 expression also increased metastases to the lung and the liver.

Alectinib resistance in ALK+ NSCLC depends on treatment sequence and EML4‐ALK variants. Variant 1 exhibited off‐target resistance after first‐line treatment, while variant 3 and later lines favored on‐target mutations. Early resistance involved off‐target alterations, like MET and NF2, while on‐target mutations emerged with prolonged therapy.

Extending Binary Qualitative Direction Calculi with a Granular Distance Concept: Hidden Feature Attachment [PDF]
In this paper we introduce a method for extending binary qualitative direction calculi with adjustable granularity like OPRAm or the star calculus with a granular distance concept. This method is similar to the concept of extending points with an internal reference direction to get oriented points which are the basic entities in the OPRAm calculus ...

A Gamification of Japanese Dependency Parsing [PDF]
Gamification approaches have been used as a way for creating language resources for NLP. It is also used for presenting and teaching the algorithms in NLP and linguistic phenomena. This paper argues about a design of gamification for Japanese syntactic dependendency parsing for the latter objective.

Ubiquitination of transcription factors in cancer: unveiling therapeutic potential
In cancer, dysregulated ubiquitination of transcription factors contributes to the uncontrolled growth and survival characteristics of tumors. Tumor suppressors are degraded by aberrant ubiquitination, or oncogenic transcription factors gain stability through ubiquitination, thereby promoting tumorigenesis.

The Cosmic Digital Code and Quantum Mechanics [PDF]
This paper posits that the cosmic digital code as the law of all physical laws contains two mutually exclusive values: attachment space attaching to object and detachment space detaching from object. However, the cosmic physical system could not start with mutually exclusive attachment space and detachment space at the same time in the beginning.
