Residual adhesive after electrode loading in adhesive‐assisted resistance spot welding is quantified through a traceable experimental‐to‐digital workflow. Chromatic confocal topography provides calibrated surface‐height data, while OpenCV detects the electrode imprint and integrates adhesive height into comparable volume metrics.

On stability of triangular points of the restricted relativistic elliptic three-body problem with triaxial and oblate primaries [PDF]
This paper investigates the location and linear stability of triangular points under combined effects of perturbations: triaxialty of a massive primary, oblateness of a less massive one, and relativistic corrections. The primaries in this system

Deep‐UV (258 nm) femtosecond pulses enable uniform amorphous silicon writing on Si(100)/(111) with a six‐fold larger fluence amorphization window than NIR methods. Optimized fluence and overlap yield 20–45 nm uniform and continuous amorphous layers. Microscopy shows sharp interfaces, and real‐time reflectivity reveals nanosecond melt–resolidification ...

On the Determination and Constancy of the Solar Oblateness [PDF]
The equator-to-pole radius difference (Δr=R eq−R pol) is a fundamental property of our star, and understanding it will enrich future solar and stellar dynamical models. The solar oblateness (Δ⊙) corresponds to the excess ratio of the equatorial solar radius (R eq) to the polar radius (R pol), which is of great interest for those working in relativity ...

Chiral Phase Change Nanomaterials
This work demonstrates reversible, non‐volatile phase transitions in chiral Ge2${\rm Ge}_2$Sb2${\rm Sb}_2$Te5${\rm Te}_5$ (GST) nanohelices for high‐speed optical modulation of chirality and dynamic control of the state of polarization (SOP). The chiral nanostructures are fabricated using a highly directional, wafer‐scale physical vapor deposition ...
