Fortified Anonymous Communication Protocol for Location Privacy in WSN: A Modular Approach
Wireless sensor network (WSN) consists of many hosts called sensors. These sensors can sense a phenomenon (motion, temperature, humidity, average, max, min, etc.) and represent what they sense in a form of data.

Developing process parameters for the laser‐based Powder Bed Fusion of metals can be a tedious task. Based on melt pool depth, the process parameters are transferable to different laser scan speeds. For this, understanding the melt pool scaling behavior is essential, particularly for materials with high thermal diffusivity, as a change in scaling ...

Observability and observers in a food web
The problem of the possibility to recover the time-dependent state of a whole population system out of the observation of certain components has been studied in earlier publications, in terms of the observability concept of mathematical systems theory. In the present note a method is proposed to effectively calculate the state process.

This study examines the mechanical properties of triply periodic minimal surfaces (TPMS)‐based lattices, analyzing 36 architectures in elastic and plastic regimes. It evaluates the applicability of beam‐based scaling laws to TPMS lattices. Rigidity arises from the alignment of members with the load direction and solid regions preventing rotation.

Observations for Reanalyses [PDF]
AbstractGlobal dynamical reanalyses of the atmosphere and ocean fundamentally rely on observations, not just for the assimilation (i.e., for the definition of the state of the Earth system components) but also in many other steps along the production chain.

A Stochastic Characterization of the Capture Zone in Pursuit-Evasion Games
Pursuit-evasion games are used to define guidance strategies for multi-agent planning problems. Although optimal strategies exist for deterministic scenarios, in the case when information about the opponent players is imperfect, it is important to ...
