Testing and development of transfer functions for weighing precipitation gauges in WMO-SPICE [PDF]
Weighing precipitation gauges are used widely for the measurement of all forms of precipitation, and are typically more accurate than tipping-bucket precipitation gauges.

Self‐Sustaining Piezozyme Platform for Antifouling via Mechanically Triggered Enzymatic Cascade
Wave‐powered CeO2/g‐C3N4 piezozyme coating converts ocean motion into an enzymatic H2O2‐to‐ROS cascade, realizing 180‐day eco‐friendly marine antifouling. ABSTRACT Harnessing ubiquitous mechanical energy for catalytic activation offers an emerging pathway toward self‐sustaining environmental protection systems.

RENAL‐CHIP converts 1 mL of peripheral blood into a biopsy‐equivalent readout of renal‐allograft fate. By magnetic capture and release of donor‐derived circulating podocytes through a herringbone microfluidic chip, 84% capture, 96% release and single‐cell RNA evidence of rejection‐specific immunity are achieved.

Anisotropic RANS Turbulence Modeling for Wakes in an Active Ocean Environment
The problem of simulating wakes in a stratified oceanic environment with active background turbulence is considered. Anisotropic RANS turbulence models are tested against laboratory and eddy-resolving models of the problem.

The design employs heterogeneous wettability surfaces that construct stable oil‐water interfaces to achieve robust and rapid reversible adhesion. Linear enhancement of adhesion strength is realized through multi‐interface patterning. This adhesive enables rapid on‐demand detachment within five seconds via voltage‐induced electrolysis, offering a level ...

Second-Order Statistics of Self-Splitting Structured Beams in Oceanic Turbulence
Free-space optical communication is restricted by random media-stimulated beam degradation. However, partially coherent structured beams modulated by the coherence structure can potentially mitigate this negative effect. By employing the extended Huygens–

ABSTRACT Greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions have emerged as one of the most critical drivers of climate change; this is primarily due to high concentrations and long atmospheric life of carbon dioxide (CO2). For a significant amount of time, various biological processes such as microalgal cultivation, cyanobacterial systems, photosynthetic microorganisms ...
