Hydridic hydrogen atoms (e.g., in Me3Ge─H) form directional noncovalent interactions with electrophilic Br, Se, and As centers. Through electrostatic and orbital analyses, these interactions are identified as halogen, chalcogen, and PnBs, not as “hydridic hydrogen bonds.” The study promotes clarity in nomenclature consistent with IUPAC guidelines ...

Senescent mesenchymal stromal cells (MSCs) drive age‐related osteoporosis (A‐OP) via adipogenic bias. Resveratrol, selected from transcriptome‐identified core genes, is delivered locally using GelMA‐chitosan hydrogel‐functionalised titanium implants. In A‐OP microenvironments, the hydrogel enables the sustained release of resveratrol, which reverses ...

ABSTRACT Tok stori, a Melanesian pidgin term meaning “conversate or share stories”, has emerged over the last decade as a Melanesian research methodology in the fields of education, pedagogy and leadership. This paper contributes to this scholarship by exploring the value of its application to the conceptualisation and practice of archaeological ...

Intermittent Fasting Targets Osteocyte Neuropeptide Y to Relieve Osteoarthritis
Osteocytes, the most abundant bone cells, secrete excess neuropeptide Y (NPY) to promote the development of osteoarthritis by directly or indirectly stimulating inflammation, osteoclast formation, and sensory nerve outgrowth. Intermittent fasting potently relieves osteoarthritis by suppressing the generation of osteocyte NPY and represents a promising ...

The schematic demonstrates the role of YTHDF3 in regulating the proliferation and osteogenic differentiation of BMSCs during postmenopausal osteoporosis. As osteoporosis progresses, YTHDF3 expression is reduced, inhibiting BMSC proliferation and osteogenic differentiation through downregulating PCNA, RUNX2, and Osterix.

Exploring the Interplay Between Senescent Osteocytes and Bone Remodeling in Young Rodents
This study identifies senescent osteocytes in the femur and tibia of young rodents and explores their role in bone remodeling. The proximity of osteoclasts to senescent osteocytes was observed, which is a new finding. Cultured osteocytes, sorted using a podoplanin antibody in FACS, exhibited osteocytic characteristics and increased senescence‐related ...
