Aromatase inhibitors are used to treat oestrogen receptor positive breast cancers but the molecular basis for the response of patients is unclear. Here, the authors use samples from an aromatase inhibitor clinical trial and show that tumours from poor ...

Oocytes play crucial roles in maintaining ovarian fate in adult gonochoristic fish. Targeted oocyte ablation with aromatase inhibition triggers the activation of surviving germline stem cells and the transdifferentiation of somatic cells from granoulosa/theca to Sertoli/Leydig lineages, inducing a complete and functional female‐to‐male sex reversal ...

CircZNF148 stabilizes HK1 through deubiquitinase recruitment, thereby enhancing glycolysis and lactate production. Elevated lactate promotes PD‑L1 lactylation and membrane accumulation while suppressing CD8+ T‐cell cytotoxicity, collectively facilitating immune evasion and malignant progression in TNBC.

Single‐cell, spatial, molecular, and pathology analyses identify a CDH3‐associated malignant epithelial state in thymic epithelial tumors. This state links stem‐like and EMT programs to M2 macrophage–rich immunosuppressive niches, genomic instability, poor survival, and drug vulnerability.

Human macrophages express oestrogen receptors and are therefore competent to respond to the hormone present in their microenvironment, which is implicated in sexual dimorphism observed in several immune and autoimmune phenomena.

Scheme of the KLF9/WTAP/YTHDF2/m6A/CSF1R regulatory axis in osteoclastogenesis and estrogen‐deficient osteoporosis. WTAP‐mediated m6A modification of Csf1r mRNA governs osteoclastogenesis via a YTHDF2‐mediated pathway. Pathological upregulation of KLF9 drives Wtap transcription, leading to increased m6A deposition on the 3’‐UTR of Csf1r mRNA.

Disturbed flow promotes the formation of TRIM21‐rich biomolecular droplets, which concentrate TRIM21 and PTPN14 and facilitate their SPRY‐FERM interaction (illustrated by the TRIM21 D355‐PTPN14 R132 salt bridge). This condensate‐driven proximity enables TRIM21 to catalyze K48‐linked polyubiquitination of PTPN14 at lysine 956, leading to proteasome ...
