Seismic Risk Analysis of Government Buildings in the City of Tembilahan using FEMA P-58

open access: yesRekayasa Sipil
Research in estimating losses and harm experienced by structures in the high seismic zone had been conducted in previous studies. Yet there is limited study carried out in low-moderate seismic areas.

Modeling hepatic fibrosis in TP53 knockout iPSC‐derived human liver organoids

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study developed iPSC‐derived human liver organoids with TP53 gene knockout to model human liver fibrosis. These organoids showed elevated myofibroblast activation, early disease markers, and advanced fibrotic hallmarks. The use of profibrotic differentiation medium further amplified the fibrotic signature seen in the organoids.

Research on the application of distributed photovoltaic-battery systems in commercial-office complexes: The impact of building hybrid characteristics on PVB systems [PDF]

open access: yesE3S Web of Conferences
The feasibility of distributed photovoltaic battery (PVB) systems in buildings has been validated, demonstrating that the integration of renewable energy with energy storage is essential for achieving low- carbon operational goals in buildings.

Carbon and cost critical elements of buildings : a comparative analysis of two office buildings [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
Purpose: The aim of this paper is to identify and compare cost and carbon critical elements of two office buildings and to propose an early design stage cost and carbon control strategy to achieve an optimum balance between building Capital Cost (CC) and

Inhibition of CDK9 enhances AML cell death induced by combined venetoclax and azacitidine

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The CDK9 inhibitor AZD4573 downregulates c‐MYC and MCL‐1 to induce death of cytarabine (AraC)‐resistant AML cells. This enhances VEN + AZA‐induced cell death significantly more than any combination of two of the three drugs in AraC‐resistant AML cells.

A synthetic benzoxazine dimer derivative targets c‐Myc to inhibit colorectal cancer progression

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Benzoxazine dimer derivatives bind to the bHLH‐LZ region of c‐Myc, disrupting c‐Myc/MAX complexes, which are evaluated from SAR analysis. This increases ubiquitination and reduces cellular c‐Myc. Impairing DNA repair mechanisms is shown through proteomic analysis.
