Symbol timing offset tracking for DRM receiver
2013 IEEE Third International Conference on Information Science and Technology (ICIST), 2013Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) system performance degrades due to symbol misalignment. We propose a symbol synchronization scheme based on channel estimation (CE). We applied linear interpolation in time domain and Winner filter in frequency domain to implement CE. The first path time delay of channel determines symbol timing offset.

Offset-free reference tracking for predictive controllers
2007 46th IEEE Conference on Decision and Control, 2007We discuss the offset-free reference tracking problem for linear constrained systems in the presence of disturbances and plant-model mismatch. Introducing disturbance models, we show how to construct a controller/observer combination, such that zero offset is achieved.

Offset compensation in a track and hold circuit
2017 IEEE 60th International Midwest Symposium on Circuits and Systems (MWSCAS), 2017Using a new DC offset compensation method, a fully differential track and hold circuit is presented. It stores an amplified version of the offset during the hold phase, which is used in attenuated fashion during the track phase to compensate offset. This scheme is less sensitive to charge injection and other errors than conventional offset compensation

Offset- and gain-compensated track-and-hold stages
1998 IEEE International Conference on Electronics, Circuits and Systems. Surfing the Waves of Science and Technology (Cat. No.98EX196), 1998A class of new fully-differential track-and-hold stages is presented. The gain of the stages does not depend on capacitor matching, and a predictive correlated-double-sampling scheme is used to reduce the effects of op-amp offset and finite dc gain. A prototype chip was fabricated in a 1.2 /spl mu/m double-poly double-metal CMOS process.

Three-Track Readout Method Using Two Offset Beams
Japanese Journal of Applied Physics, 1996A high-data-transfer-rate, high-track-density optical recording method using two offset beams to read the data on three tracks was investigated. One beam is offset towards the center track from the center of a side track. Therefore, the readout signal amplitude read from the side track is twice as large as that from the center track.
