Further improvements to OIT sort performance
Proceedings of Computer Graphics International 2018, 2018Transparency requires geometry to be blended in depth sorted order. Order independent transparency (OIT) allows geometry to be rendered in any order, with exact OIT capturing all fragment data during rasterization before sorting and blending. The sorting stage is the only super-linear operation thus is more dominant with increasing scene depth ...

Fast sorting for exact OIT of complex scenes
Visual Computer, 2014Exact order-independent transparency (OIT) techniques capture all fragments during rasterization. The fragments are then sorted per-pixel by depth and composited in order using alpha transparency. The sorting stage is a bottleneck for high depth complexity scenes, taking 70---95 % of the total time for those investigated.

Organic Integrity Test (OIT) In Children
Archives of General Psychiatry, 1965Introduction THE ORGANIC Integrity Test (OIT) was first published in theArchives of General Psychiatry(3:43-52 (July) 1960) by Tien. 10 This test measures form perception as an indication of organicity as unrelated to intelligence. Astrom confirmed the reliability and the validity of the OIT in Sweden (1963), 1 and Engelsmann confirmed it in ...

Software tutors for scaffolding on Planet Oit
Proceedings 3rd IEEE International Conference on Advanced Technologies, 2004Planet Oit is a multiuser virtual environment used to teach geologic concepts and the scientific method. It is built on a structured system of modules and goals arranged so that students have freedom, but have direction as well. Intelligent software tutors explain geologic concepts, guide the players in achieving their goals, and assist them in ...

Currently, there is no approved therapy for food allergies. Thus, treatment strategies are limited to avoidance of the allergic food and having emergency treatment available for reactions. An increasing amount of research into food allergy treatments has occurred in response to this void, with oral immunotherapy (OIT) being the most researched ...

Eosinophil-Associated Gastrointestinal Manifestations During OIT
Clinical Reviews in Allergy & Immunology, 2023Gastrointestinal adverse events are common during oral immunotherapy (OIT) for food allergy and range from immediate IgE-mediated reactions to non-anaphylactic clinical presentations. This review aims to summarize recent findings on non-anaphylactic eosinophil-associated gastrointestinal adverse events during OIT.
