Predicting Potential Range Shifts and Molecular Approaches in Four Diolcogaster Ashmead Species (Hymenoptera: Braconidae, Microgastrinae)

open access: yesEcology and Evolution, Volume 15, Issue 12, December 2025.
We modeled the global distributions of four Diolcogaster wasp species using MaxEnt and evaluated their ecological niches, phylogenetic relationships, and haplotype diversity. All species showed strong model performance, with D. claritibia exhibiting the broadest and most suitable habitats.

Сравнительная карпология Comoranthus и Schrebera (Oleaceae) [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
Результаты изучения структуры плодов и анатомии перикарпия представителей родов Comoranthus и Schrebera. В ходе исследования установлено, что механические элементы в перикарпии развиваются исключительно из мезофилла карпелл, в то время как эндокарпий на ...

Genomics‐Driven Monitoring of Fraxinus latifolia (Oregon Ash) to Inform Conservation and EAB‐Resistance Breeding

open access: yesMolecular Ecology, Volume 34, Issue 23, December 2025.
ABSTRACT Understanding the evolutionary processes underlying range‐wide genomic variation is critical to designing effective conservation and restoration strategies. Evaluating the influence of connectivity, demographic change and environmental adaptation for threatened species can be invaluable to proactive conservation of evolutionary potential.

On the origin of the invasive olives (Olea europaea L., Oleaceae). [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
The olive tree (Olea europaea) has successfully invaded several regions in Australia and Pacific islands. Two olive subspecies (subspp. europaea and cuspidata) were first introduced in these areas during the nineteenth century.

Flavonoids from Chionanthus retusus (Oleaceae) Flowers and Their Protective Effects against Glutamate-Induced Cell Toxicity in HT22 Cells

open access: yesInternational Journal of Molecular Sciences, 2019
The dried flowers of Chionanthus retusus were extracted with 80% MeOH, and the concentrate was divided into EtOAc, n-BuOH, and H2O fractions. Repeated SiO2, octadecyl SiO2 (ODS), and Sephadex LH-20 column chromatography of the EtOAc fraction led to the ...

Effects of cucumber mosaic virus infection on Arabidopsis thaliana in wild populations: from mutualism to antagonism

open access: yesNew Phytologist, Volume 248, Issue 6, Page 3099-3114, December 2025.
Summary It is broadly accepted that viruses are often commensals or conditional mutualists of plants, a concept based on results of experiments under controlled conditions with scarce evidence from studies of plants infected in the field. Demonstrating that plant viruses are mutualists, commensals, or pathogens in nature, and identifying under which ...

Insights Into the Cultivable Microbial Ecology of “Manna” Ash Products Extracted From Fraxinus angustifolia (Oleaceae) Trees in Sicily, Italy

open access: yesFrontiers in Microbiology, 2019
Microbial communities characterizing a specific food matrix, generally, strongly contribute to both its composition, and properties for food applications.
