CD56bright NK cells are negatively associated with antibody response to vaccination in people with multiple sclerosis on B‐cell‐depleting therapy

open access: yesClinical &Translational Immunology, Volume 15, Issue 2, 2026.
Antibody response to vaccination in people with multiple sclerosis receiving B‐cell depletion therapy is associated with B‐cell frequency but not time since B‐cell depletion. Immunoregulatory CD56bright NK cells may negatively impact antibody responses in this group.

Comparing Cross‐Sectional and Longitudinal Study Designs for Accurate Viral Dynamics Estimation: Insights From the NBA Cohort Data

open access: yesJournal of Medical Virology, Volume 98, Issue 2, February 2026.
ABSTRACT Viral load data provide critical insights into host‐pathogen interactions and guide clinical and public health decisions. Because frequent testing is often infeasible, viral dynamics models are used to reconstruct infection trajectories, but optimal sampling strategies remain unclear.

Progress in RNA‐Targeted Therapeutics for Human Diseases

open access: yesMedComm, Volume 7, Issue 2, February 2026.
RNA‐targeted therapies are revolutionizing molecular medicine by transitioning from a “protein‐centric” focus to an “RNA‐regulatory network” approach. Leveraging RNA's diverse roles in gene regulation, signaling, and epigenetic modifications, advanced platforms such as ASOs, siRNA, miRNA, mRNA, aptamers, shRNA, and CRISPR/Cas systems are enabling ...

Selective and Tunable Routes for Glucose to Fructose Conversion Using MgCl2 Catalysis and Comparison to Other Metal Ions

open access: yesChemistryOpen, Volume 15, Issue 2, February 2026.
MgCl2 is a cheap catalyst for glucose to fructose conversion in water with excellent selectivity if competing pathways leading to CC bond breakage avoided by control of pH and oxygen and use of mild temperatures. Both a stereoselective 1,2‐hydride shift and isomerization via an enediol intermediate contribute to the isomerization.
