Omni‐directional Relief Impostors
Abstract Relief impostors have been proposed as a compact and high‐quality representation for high‐frequency detail in 3D models. In this paper we propose an algorithm to represent a complex object through the combination of a reduced set of relief maps. These relief maps can be rendered with very few artifacts and no apparent deformation from any view

The incubation of primary astrocytes with fAuNCs‐BSA induces: (A) long‐term effects including fAuNCs‐BSA internalization, red cell fluorescence, differentiation, upregulation of Ca2+ signaling, Cl‐current, and cell volume regulation. B) Short‐term (200 ms) stimulation with UV LED light increases in Ca2+ signaling and inhibition of K+ current. Astrocyte

Aims In medical education, the ability of large language models (LLMs) to match human performance raises questions about their potential as educational tools. This study evaluates LLMs' performance on Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics (CPT) exams, comparing their results to medical students and exploring their ability to identify poorly formulated

A Framework to Illustrate Kinematic Behavior of Mechanisms by Haptic Feedback [PDF]
The kinematic properties of mechanisms are well known by the researchers and teachers. The theory based on the study of Jacobian matrices allows us to explain, for example, the singular configuration.

Zhao et al. control the coverage of *CO or *H intermediates by introducing foreign metal into Cu nanoparticles. The increased *CO coverage on Ag‐doped and Zn‐doped Cu promotes the generation of multi‐carbon products while the increased *H coverage of Co‐doped and Pd‐doped Cu enhances the selectivity of oxygenates. ABSTRACT As key reaction intermediates

Gesture Recognition Aplication based on Dynamic Time Warping (DTW) FOR Omni-Wheel Mobile Robot [PDF]
This project presents of the movement of omni-wheel robot moves in the trajectory obtained from the gesture recognition system based on Dynamic Time Warping. Single camera is used as the input of the system, which is also a reference to the movement

Generative Adversarial Estimation of Channel Covariance in Vehicular Millimeter Wave Systems
Enabling highly-mobile millimeter wave (mmWave) systems is challenging because of the huge training overhead associated with acquiring the channel knowledge or designing the narrow beams.

ABSTRACT Background Pancreatic adenocarcinoma (PDAC) is characterized by its poor prognosis. Cytology is essential for diagnostic confirmation and ancillary studies. The endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) set a precedent, facilitating cytological sampling through fine‐needle aspiration (FNA), with a sensitivity of 93% and a specificity of 95%.
