We used inhaled epoprostenol (with intravenous phenylephrine) during one-lung ventilation to improve oxygenation in a patient with severe interstitial lung disease undergoing video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery.

A soft‐compliant hydrogel cuff coating combines real‐time pressure monitoring with intrinsic antibacterial activity for prophylaxis of ventilator‐associated pneumonia. A flexible pressure‐sensing patch is embedded in the coating to enable wireless dynamic monitoring of endotracheal cuff pressure through Bluetooth.
