Functional Precision Oncology Approach Using Nanoliter Droplet Array for Drug Sensitivity Testing in Lung Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
A miniaturized drug sensitivity and resistance testing (DSRT) workflow based on the Droplet Microarray (DMA) platform enables functional drug testing using minimal patient‐derived tumor material. By screening nanoliter‐scale droplets containing as few as 300 cells, this approach generates reproducible and tumor‐specific drug response profiles ...

Online Learning with Abstention

open access: yes, 2017
We present an extensive study of the key problem of online learning where algorithms are allowed to abstain from making predictions. In the adversarial setting, we show how existing online algorithms and guarantees can be adapted to this problem. In the stochastic setting, we first point out a bias problem that limits the straightforward extension of ...

Polymorph‐Specific Electronic Transduction in WO3 during Molecular Sensing

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Metal‐oxide polymorphs with similar surface chemistry can nevertheless exhibit distinct sensing properties. In γ‐ and ε‐WO3, analyte adsorption appears comparable; yet, only ε‐WO3 induces a pronounced lattice electronic perturbation that accommodates charge in sub‐conduction band minimum states.

Autodeleveraging as Online Learning

open access: yesCoRR
Autodeleveraging (ADL) is a last-resort loss socialization mechanism used by perpetual futures venues when liquidation and insurance buffers are insufficient to restore solvency. Despite the scale of perpetual futures markets, ADL has received limited formal treatment as a sequential control problem.

Direct Gravity‐Induced Modulation of Cardiac Conduction Pathways Evidenced Through Propagation Features in Electrophysiological Mapping

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
A high‐density wearable body‐surface potential mapping array reveals how gravity reshapes cardiac conduction in real time. By resolving spatiotemporal delay patterns invisible to conventional ECG, the platform uncovers posture‐dependent electrophysiological adaptations across the thorax.
