Developmental Disorders in Children Recently Diagnosed With Cancer
ABSTRACT Neurocognitive deficits in adult survivors of childhood cancer are well established, but less is known about developmental disorders (DD) arising shortly after cancer diagnosis. Using 2016–2019 linked Ohio cancer registry and Medicaid data, we compared DD among 324 children with cancer and 606,913 cancer‐free controls.

Dynamic Scenarios of the Formation of Martensite with the {110} Habits in the Ni50Mn50 Alloy [PDF]
Martensitic transformation B2–L10 in the ordered alloy Ni50Mn50, which occurs at comparatively high temperatures (980–920 K), is discussed with the use of dynamic concepts of the wave control of the threshold deformation.

Flux Lattice Melting and Lowest Landau Level Fluctuations
We discuss the influence of lowest Landau level (LLL) fluctuations near H_{c2}(T) on flux lattice melting in YBa$_2$Cu$_3$O$_{7-\delta}$ (YBCO). We show that the specific heat step of the flux lattice melting transition in YBCO single crystals can be ...

Can hierarchical predictive coding explain binocular rivalry? [PDF]
Hohwy et al.’s (2008) model of binocular rivalry (BR) is taken as a classic illustration of predictive coding’s explanatory power. I revisit the account and show that it cannot explain the role of reward in BR.

End of OSLER Test Sessions in Parkinson’s Disease do not Correspond to True Sleep Onset: Results from an Exploratory Study [PDF]
The aim of the present study was to evaluate the correlation between the end of an Oxford sleep resistance (OSLER) test session and a neurophysiological marker of sleep onset in Parkinson's disease (PD) patients. Single center study was conducted in PD patients with excessive daytime sleepiness [Epworth sleepiness scale (ESS) >9].

Wave chaos as signature for depletion of a Bose-Einstein condensate
We study the expansion of repulsively interacting Bose-Einstein condensates (BECs) in shallow one-dimensional potentials. We show for these systems that the onset of wave chaos in the Gross-Pitaevskii equation (GPE), i.e.
