Extending structural subsumption reasoning algorithms for ontology matching

open access: yesTongxin xuebao, 2012
For exploiting semantics implied in constructors and axioms in an ontology,a structural subsumption reasoning algorithm was extended to match ontologies. The implied semantics was first enabled to be read-off easily by rephrasing entities in an ontology ...

METHODS, APPROACHES, PRINCIPLES, GUIDELINES AND APPLICATIONS ON MULTILINGUAL ONTOLOGIES: A SURVEY

open access: yesICTACT Journal on Soft Computing, 2016
Ontologies are used in various domains to provide meaningful knowledge from data. The data can be in different natural languages. Ontologies with a lexical layer in different natural languages are needed essential to access the multilingual data by the ...

On Ontology Matching Problems

open access: yes, 2004
Ontologies are nowadays used in many domains such as Semantic Web, information systems… to represent meaning of data and data sources. In the framework of knowledge management in an heterogeneous organization, the materialization of the organizational memory in a " corporate semantic web " may require to integrate the various ontologies of the ...

A Nanoparticle‐Integrated Complete Manufacturing Pipeline of Chemically Engineered Exosomes

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We report a novel manufacture technology of chemically engineered exosomes. The four steps of manufacturing, i.e., biogenesis, loading, isolation, and storage, are integrated by the use of a nanoparticle. The manufacture technology incorporates three innovative components, i.e., a new nano‐bio effect, a new composite nanoparticle, and a new isolation ...

Domain-aware ontology matching

open access: yes, 2021
During the last years, technological advances have created new ways of communication, which have motivated governments, companies and institutions to digitalise the data they have in order to make it accessible and transferable to other people. Despite the millions of digital resources that are currently available, their diversity and heterogeneous ...

A Tac1‐Expressing Brainstem Pathway Underlies the Pathogenesis of Trigeminal Neuralgia

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A critical TG‐Sp5CTac1‐PBNTac1 pathway drives trigeminal neuropathic pain (TNP). Tac1‐expressing parabrachial nucleus (PBNTac1) neurons exhibit heightened responses to innocuous stimuli in TNP, and chemogenetic inhibition of these neurons effectively prevents TNP development.

A Testis‐Specific Aralkylamine N‐Acetyltransferase Regulates Dimorphic Sperm Function and Male Fertility in Moths

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We identify a Lepidoptera‐conserved testis‐specific arylalkylamine N‐acetyltransferase (LTNAT) that governs male moth fertility via a novel mechanism. LTNAT loss disrupts eupyrene sperm mitochondrial derivatives and impairs apyrene sperm motility, offering a safe molecular target for innovative pesticides and genetic pest control.

GNL3 Orchestrates AR Transcriptional Programs to Drive Castration‐Resistant Prostate Cancer and Immune Evasion

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
GNL3 is a novel AR coregulator with dual coactivator and corepressor functions in prostate cancer (PCa). Our study uncovers a previously unrecognized mechanism by which the AR transcriptional complex integrates oncogenic signaling and immune suppression.

Oral Streptococcus salivarius Couples Neutrophil IRGM1 Signaling to NET Formation and Colorectal Cancer Metastasis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The oral bacterium Streptococcus salivarius promotes colorectal cancer metastasis by inducing neutrophil extracellular trap (NET) formation. Mechanistically, IRGM1–IQGAP1 interaction activates Wnt5a–PI3K/AKT signaling in neutrophils, driving NET‐mediated tumor progression.
