Effect of scouring and laundering on functional properties of natural colour cotton fabric
Natural color cotton is eco-supportive as they possess colour naturally in varied shades viz., brown, green, cream and other tints and shades of these colours. It has unique comfort and handle property which provides soothing to the wearer.

Choreography of silk spinning by webspinners (Insecta: Embioptera) reflects lifestyle and hints at phylogeny [PDF]
Silk spinning defines the morphologically constrained embiopterans. All individuals spin for protection, including immatures, adult males and the wingless females. Enlarged front tarsi are packed with silk glands and clothed with ejectors.

EXPERIENCES IN THE AIR SPINNING TO MANUFACTURE MEDICAL DEVICES [PDF]
The work aims to determine, with scientific rigor, differences in key parameters of the yarns produced by conventional ring spinning systems, open-end and air spinning and its interrelation with the main parameters of those products that are intended for

Plectoneme creation reduces the rotational friction of a polymer [PDF]
The torsional dynamics of a semiflexible polymer with a contour length $L$ larger than its persistence length L_p that is rotated at fixed frequency omega_0 at one end is studied by scaling arguments and hydrodynamic simulations.

Recycling neutron stars to ultra short periods: a statistical analysis of their evolution in the mu-P plane [PDF]
We investigate the statistical evolution of magnetic neutron stars, recycled in binary systems, simulating synthetic populations. To bracket uncertainties, we consider a soft (FP) and a stiff (PS) equation of state (EoS) for nuclear matter and explore ...

A Picture of D-branes at Strong Coupling II. Spinning Partons [PDF]
We study the Born-Infeld D-brane action in the limit when the string coupling goes to infinity. The resulting actions is presented in an arbitrary background and shown to describe a foliation of the world-volume by strings.

Solitons in a Baby-Skyrme model with invariance under area preserving diffeomorphisms
We study the properties of soliton solutions in an analog of the Skyrme model in 2+1 dimensions whose Lagrangian contains the Skyrme term and the mass term, but no usual kinetic term. The model admits a symmetry under area preserving diffeomorphisms.

Ultra-low mass primordial black holes (PBH), which may briefly dominate the energy density of the universe but completely evaporate before the big bang nucleosynthesis (BBN), can lead to interesting observable signatures. In our previous work, we studied
