Open-End Spinning Frames Driven by Air-Jet

open access: yesJournal of the Textile Machinery Society of Japan, 1976
Various devices driven and supported by air jet were tested for a high speed open-end spinning frame. Two types of rotors were prepared: the upper fluting rotor and the under fluting rotor. Each rotor was driven by air jet running against the fluting directly from the nozzles drilled on the inner surface of a stator.

Air-Jet Driven Open-End Spinning Frame

open access: yesSen'i Kikai Gakkaishi (Journal of the Textile Machinery Society of Japan), 1975
Air jet driving and supporting devices were tested for a high speed open-end spinning frame . Two types of rotors were prepared : the upper fluting rotor and the under fluting rotor. Each rotor was driven by air jet impinging upon the fluting directly from the nozzles prepared on the inner surfaces of a stator.

A critical review of online sliver monitoring technologies in the draw frame of spinning preparation systems and future advances

open access: yesJournal of Industrial Textiles
The quality of sliver at the draw frame stage is a decisive factor in achieving yarn uniformity, particularly in air-jet (Vortex, MVS), Open-end rotor, and friction spinning, where drawn slivers are passed directly into the spinning unit without a roving
