Resonance characteristics of CPS open-loop resonator

2000 Asia-Pacific Microwave Conference. Proceedings (Cat. No.00TH8522), 2002
A novel coplanar stripline (CPS) open-loop resonator (OLR) is proposed for maximum miniaturization in uniplanar microwave applications. In addition, the effect of variation in the one's width of longer strips of OLR (namely, CPS fixed gap (FG) OLR) that is realized by cutting a gap into the one of the longer strips, oriented along the direction of ...

Resonance characteristics of capacitively loaded CPW open‐loop resonators

Microwave and Optical Technology Letters, 2003
AbstractCapacitively loaded coplanar waveguide (CPW) open‐loop resonators (OLRs) are proposed for maximum miniaturization in uniplanar microwave applications. It is shown that these resonators can be used to achieve a slow‐wave effect without occupying extra surface area.

A study on resonance characteristics of a microstrip open‐loop resonator

Microwave and Optical Technology Letters, 2001
AbstractA microstrip open‐loop resonator (MOLR) is proposed for maximum miniaturization in microwave applications, and to obtain a wider upper stopband including the first spurious resonance frequency for planar bandpass filters. The effect of variation in the width of one of the longer strips of an OLR formed in two ways (namely, fixed‐gap (FG) and ...

Dielectric Permittivity Sensor Based on Planar Open-Loop Resonator

IEEE Sensors Letters, 2021
Accurate characterization of the dielectric properties of solids and, especially, substrates is crucial for circuitry design and development. For applications requiring low cost, wieldy systems, many attempts have been made involving planar resonant microwave devices.

Microstrip slow-wave open-loop resonator filters

1997 IEEE MTT-S International Microwave Symposium Digest, 2002
Microstrip slow-wave open-loop resonators allow various filter configurations including those of elliptic or quasi-elliptic function response to be realised. The filters are not only compact in size due to the slow-wave effect, but also have a wider upper stopband resulting from the dispersion effects. These attractive features mean the microstrip slow-
