Parametric analysis of open plan offices
The Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, 2002The workspace has been undergoing many changes. Open plan offices are being favored instead of ones of traditional design. PRECISION OF ROOM ACOUSTIC MODELLING IN OPEN-PLAN OFFICES
Inter-Noise 2022, 2023Room acoustic models are often used to predict parameters that describe acoustic conditions in various spaces, also in open-plan offices. An open-plan office of 81 m² was experimentally studied using 22 different room acoustic conditions. The conditions were built using typical absorption materials, office screens, and furniture.

The Barrier in Open-Office Planning
The Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, 1970The effectiveness of a barrier in open office planning is evaluated in terms of the total system of surrounding surfaces. Scale-modeling techniques utilizing an ultrasonic source have been used to determine the loss in sound isolation provided by a barrier between two adjacent spaces when reflective but potentially absorptive surfaces such as corewalls,
