Open resonators for the measurement of permittivity
A small modification to Yu's model leads to more consistent values of permittivity. The difference is insignificant for confocal resonators but is appreciable if the resonator is very short or very long.

Choroid Plexus Enlargement and USPIO‐Based Inflammatory Feature in Cerebral Small Vessel Disease
ABSTRACT Objective The choroid plexus (CP) is a key component of the blood–cerebrospinal fluid barrier (BCSFB), but its mechanism of action in cerebral small vessel disease (CSVD) remains unclear. This study investigated CP volume (CPV) alterations and their association with conventional imaging markers in CSVD and explored the underlying role of ...

Advancing Age Modulates Associations Between Cognitive Impairment and Brain Volumes in Early MS
ABSTRACT Introduction Cognitive impairment is common in multiple sclerosis (MS), but manifestations following the first demyelinating event are relatively unexplored. We investigated cross‐sectional associations between magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)–derived brain volumes and the presence of cognitive impairment outcomes five years after the first ...

Double open resonator for localized non-contact acoustic testing
There exist two concepts of open resonators that can be combined into a device for acoustic non-destructive testing. The device is non-contact and based on the fact that an airgap between a transducer surface and the test object can be set into ...

Study of capacitance effect for dual open circuit band-stop resonator / Ahmad Amzar Abd Rashid [PDF]
Microstrip Dual Open Circuit Stub filters is fabricated using FR4 substrate to investigate the effect of capacitance in series with the resonator stub. The FR4 substrate thickness is 1.6mm and has a relative dielectric constant of 5.4. The capacitance is

ABSTRACT Objective To evaluate the efficacy and safety of ofatumumab in patients with myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein antibody–associated disease (MOGAD), and compare it with rituximab. Methods We conducted a single–center, observational study including 22 MOGAD patients treated with ofatumumab and 21 treated with rituximab.

Miniature distributed filters for software re-configurable radio applications
Variable preselection filters will be an important component of any software re-configurable radio design. To be of practical use, such a filter should occupy a minimum of board area in any transceiver layout.

Measurement of Nonplanar Dielectric Samples Using an Open Resonator [PDF]
Conventional microwave methods for measuring permittivity often utilize samples in flat sheet form. In practice, however, it is sometimes desirable to measure samples having curved surfaces, for example, parts of lenses or small radomes.
