Abstract Purpose Breast cancer is a neoplastic disease with high prevalence among women. Radiotherapy is one of the principal treatment modalities for this disease, but it poses significant challenges. This study aimed to compare and evaluate the technical and dosimetric performance of conventional C‐arm linac systems and a new design, Halcyon, in the ...

PathWise: a flexible, open-source library for the Resource Constrained Shortest Path [PDF]
In this paper, we consider a fundamental and hard combinatorial problem: the Resource Constrained Shortest Path Problem (RCSPP). We describe the implementation of a flexible, open-source library for the solution of the RCSPP, called PathWise, capable of tackling several variants of the problem.

Abstract Purpose To investigate the feasibility of adapting a commercial prostate biopsy system for transrectal ultrasound (TRUS)‐guided hybrid gynecological (GYN) high‐dose‐rate (HDR) brachytherapy (BT). Leveraging 3D‐TRUS and MR image fusion, the prototype system aims to improve real‐time needle placement accuracy.

Shortest Path Analysis in Social Graphs [PDF]
The shortest path problem is among the most fundamental combinatorial optimization problems to answer reachability queries. It is hard to deter-mine which vertices or edges are visited during shortest path traversals. In this paper, we provide an empirical analysis on how traversal algorithms behave on social networks.

Validity and Reliability of Clinical and Patient‐Reported Outcomes in Multisystem Proteinopathy 1
ABSTRACT Objective Valosin‐containing protein (VCP)‐associated multisystem proteinopathy 1 (MSP1) is caused by variants in the VCP gene. MSP1 results in various phenotypes including progressive myopathy, Paget's disease of bone, frontotemporal dementia, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, and parkinsonism, among others.

Convergence time analysis of open shortest path first routing protocol in internet scale networks
Proposed is a novel method to compute the intra-area convergence time of open shortest path first (OSPF) based networks in the presence of designated routers (DRs) on Ethernet and non-broadcast multi-access segments. The capacity of the proposed method is demonstrated by evaluating the convergence time performance of OSFP on internet scale networks ...

Positively supercharged mGreenLatern protein is self‐assembled electrostatically with negatively charged zinc phthalocyanines to yield bio‐based photoactive materials in aqueous media. The addition of phthalocyanines results in the formation of large complexes fully quenching of the protein fluorescence. The results indicate an energy transfer from the

Path planning in three-dimensional space based on butterfly optimization algorithm
Path planning is one of the most critical issues in many related fields including UAVs. Many researchers have addressed this problem according to different conditions and limitations, but modelling the 3-D space and routing with an evolutional algorithm ...
