Design Procedure of Cascaded Multilevel Inverter for High-Power Amplifier in SONAR System

open access: yesEnergies
In recent years, there has been a trend toward expanding the operating frequency range and increasing the output power of Sound Navigation and Ranging (SONAR) systems to enhance their acoustic detection capabilities.

Effective therapeutic targeting of CTNNB1‐mutant hepatoblastoma with WNTinib

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
WNTinib, a Wnt/CTNNB1 inhibitor, was tested in hepatoblastoma (HB) experimental models. It delayed tumor growth and improved survival in CTNNB1‐mutant in vivo models. In organoids, WNTinib outperformed cisplatin and showed enhanced efficacy in combination therapy, supporting its potential as a targeted treatment for CTNNB1‐mutated HB.

Monitoring of circulating tumor DNA allows early detection of disease relapse in patients with operable breast cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Monitoring circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) in patients with operable breast cancer can reveal disease relapse earlier than radiology in a subset of patients. The failure to detect ctDNA in some patients with recurrent disease suggests that ctDNA could serve as a supplement to other monitoring approaches.

Fully-Differential Multifunctional Electronically Configurable Fractional-Order Filter with Electronically Adjustable Parameters

open access: yesElektronika ir Elektrotechnika, 2018
The paper presents a novel solution of a fully-differential 1+α fractional-order filter. The filter can provide low-pass, high-pass, band-pass and band-stop transfer functions without a necessity of a circuitry change (filter is electronically ...

LINC01116, a hypoxia‐lncRNA marker of pathological lymphangiogenesis and poor prognosis in lung adenocarcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The LINC01116 long noncoding RNA is induced by hypoxia and associated with poor prognosis and high recurrence rates in two cohorts of lung adenocarcinoma patients. Here, we demonstrate that besides its expression in cancer cells, LINC01116 is markedly expressed in lymphatic endothelial cells of the tumor stroma in which it participates in hypoxia ...

Desigin of Synthetic Elements with Transimpedance Operational Amplifiers

open access: yesAdvances in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, 2006
One way how to design active filters for wider frequency band is application of transimpedance operational amplifiers (TOAs) based on current mode. For this aim the TOAs exhibit the most suitable properties: large bandwidth, highslew rate, good linearity,

Beam-Steering Antenna Technique Using Operational Amplifiers for Sub-6 GHz

open access: yesIEEE Access
A methodology for beam-steering using operational amplifiers (Op-amps) is presented. Continuous steering is required in various advanced applications and its implementation necessitates additional efforts since singularly control of the feeding of the ...

ATF4‐mediated stress response as a therapeutic vulnerability in chordoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We screened 5 chordoma cell lines against 100+ inhibitors of epigenetic and metabolic pathways and kinases and identified halofuginone, a tRNA synthetase inhibitor. Mechanistically halofuginone induces an integrated stress response, with eIF2alpha phosphorylation, activation of ATF4 and its target genes CHOP, ASNS, INHBE leading to cell death ...

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.
