The Research of Operational Transconductance Amplifier

2011 International Conference on Control, Automation and Systems Engineering (CASE), 2011
A topology structure of operational transconductance amplifier is proposed to be devised in this paper. In order to make it have the feature of high-speed, large bandwidth, and high stability, a two-stage cascode structure amplifier is designed by using cascaded single-stage amplifier.

Operational Transconductance Amplifiers (OTAs)

2014
This chapter describes operational transconductance amplifiers (OTAs) and their linearization for use in g m -C filters. Super-source-follower and digitally programmable OTAs are detailed. The common-mode feedback used in these OTAs and a buffer amplifier are described. A OTA implemented in 120 nm CMOS is introduced inclusive measured results.

High‐gain, high‐CMRR class AB operational transconductance amplifier based on the flipped voltage follower

International journal of circuit theory and applications, 2019
A novel class AB operational transconductance amplifier (OTA) topology is proposed, based on a class AB flipped voltage follower. The OTA has class AB behavior, with current boosting both for the load and the compensation capacitors.

Different operational transconductance amplifier topologies for obtaining very small transconductances

2000 IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems. Emerging Technologies for the 21st Century. Proceedings (IEEE Cat No.00CH36353), 2002
A family of CMOS Operational Transconductance Amplifiers (OTA's) have been designed for very small G/sub M/'s (of the order of nA/V) in the moderate inversion region of operation using several design schemes such as current division, floating gate input stages and bulk driven techniques.

Multistage operational transconductance amplifier frequency compensation technique based on fully differential feedback stage

International journal of numerical modelling, 2019
In this article, a new configuration of a three‐stage Complementary metal‐oxide‐semiconductor (CMOS) operational transconductance amplifier (OTA) is proposed.

Designing operational transconductance amplifiers for low voltage operation

1993 IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems, 2002
To design operational transconductance amplifiers (OTAs) for high-performance applications it is necessary to use cascoded current mirrors. In low-voltage applications the standard cascoded current mirror cannot be used. The solution is to use the generalized high-swing cascoded current mirror.

Transconductance cancellation for operational amplifiers

IEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits, 1977
A low-cost internally compensated integrated-circuit operational amplifier occupying a small die area can be fabricated if the compensation capacitor value is low. This objective is attained when the amplifier-input-stage transconductance is reduced to a minimum provided the frequency response remains unchanged.

New Operational Transconductance Amplifiers using current boosting

2012 IEEE 55th International Midwest Symposium on Circuits and Systems (MWSCAS), 2012
New techniques for Class-AB Operational Transconductance Amplifiers (OTAs) are presented. These new techniques are two topologies based on current boosting in class-AB stage which achieve considerable improvement of Slew Rate and Gain-Bandwidth while maintaining the same power consumption as the conventional design.

OVERVIEW OF OPERATIONAL TRANSCONDUCTANCE AMPLIFIER (OTA)

2023
An essential component of electronic systems is the operational transconductance amplifier (OTA). A transconductor's job is to turn an input voltage into an output current. The transconductance amplifier can be set up to either amplify or combine currents or voltages.

Expected Improvement-Based Optimization Approach for the Optimal Sizing of a CMOS Operational Transconductance Amplifier

International Conference on Synthesis, Modeling, Analysis and Simulation Methods and Applications to Circuit Design, 2018
In this paper we consider the use of a new Kriging metamodeling technique for the efficient global optimization of analog circuits. It is based on the use of the socalled expected improvement criterion for the enhancement of the considered performance ...
