Recent Advances in Lp-Theory of Homotopy Operator on Differential Forms

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2014
The purpose of this survey paper is to present an up-to-date account of the recent advances made in the study of Lp-theory of the homotopy operator applied to differential forms.

Nuclear pore links Fob1‐dependent rDNA damage relocation to lifespan control

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Damaged rDNA accumulates at a specific perinuclear interface that couples nucleolar escape with nuclear envelope association. Nuclear pores at this site help inhibit Fob1‐induced rDNA instability. This spatial organization of damage handling supports a functional link between nuclear architecture, rDNA stability, and replicative lifespan in yeast.

A light‐triggered Time‐Resolved X‐ray Solution Scattering (TR‐XSS) workflow with application to protein conformational dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering captures how proteins change shape in real time under near‐native conditions. This article presents a practical workflow for light‐triggered TR‐XSS experiments, from data collection to structural refinement. Using a calcium‐transporting membrane protein as an example, the approach can be broadly applied to study ...

Operator-norm Trotter product formula on Banach spaces

open access: yes, 2022
In this paper we collect results concerning the {operator-norm} convergent {Trotter} product formula for two semigroups $\{\e^{- t A}\}_{t\geq 0}$, $\{\e^{- t B}\}_{t\geq 0}$, with densely defined generators $A$ and $B$ in a {Banach} space. Although the {

Chameleon sequences reveal structural effects in proteins representing micelle‐like distribution of hydrophobicity

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Amino acids sequence of two different proteins with the same sequence (chameleon sequence—black boxes) represent in 3D structure of the proteins different secondary structures: HHHH—helical and BBB—Beta‐structural. The chains folded in water environment adopt different III‐order structures in which the chameleon fragments appear to adopt similar status

INTERPOLATION WITH MINIMUM VALUE OF \(L_{2}\)-NORM OF DIFFERENTIAL OPERATOR

open access: yesUral Mathematical Journal
For the class of bounded in \(l_{2}\)-norm interpolated data, we consider a problem of interpolation on a finite interval  \([a,b]\subset\mathbb{R}\) with minimal value of the \(L_{2}\)-norm of a differential operator applied to interpolants ...

Notes on the Propagators of Evolution Equations

open access: yesAdvances in Difference Equations, 2010
We consider the propagator of an evolution equation, which is a semigroup of linear operators. Questions related to its operator norm function and its behavior at the critical point for norm continuity or compactness or differentiability are studied.

Bilinear Operators on Normed Linear Spaces [PDF]

open access: yesFormalized Mathematics, 2019
Summary The main aim of this article is proving properties of bilinear operators on normed linear spaces formalized by means of Mizar [1]. In the first two chapters, algebraic structures [3] of bilinear operators on linear spaces are discussed.

Analysing the significance of small conformational changes and low occupancy states in serial crystallographic data

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
This protocol paper outlines methods to establish the success of a time‐resolved serial crystallographic experiment, by means of statistical analysis of timepoint data in reciprocal space and models in real space. We show how to amplify the signal from excited states to visualise structural changes in successful experiments.

Norm observable operator models

open access: yes, 2007
Observable operator models (OOMs), a recently developed matrix model class of stochastic processes [6], possesses several advantages over hidden Markov models (HMMs).
