Optic canal dimensions in a Nigerian cohort: Implications for neurosurgery and radiology [PDF]
Background: The variant morphometry of the optic canal is important to neurosurgeons, radiologists and ophthalmologists in the diagnosis and management of skull base and intracanalicular lesions. Aim and Objectives: This study delved into the anatomical

Optic tract injury after closed head traumatic brain injury in mice: A model of indirect traumatic optic neuropathy. [PDF]
Adult male C57BL/6J mice have previously been reported to have motor and memory deficits after experimental closed head traumatic brain injury (TBI), without associated gross pathologic damage or neuroimaging changes detectable by magnetic resonance ...

Cross‐Scale Hierarchical Targeted Delivery System Based on Small‐Scale Magnetic Robots
This article reviews a cross‐scale hierarchical targeted delivery system that integrates magnetic continuum robots and magnetic microrobots. By combining rapid long‐range navigation with precise microscale targeting, the system overcomes key limitations of single‐scale approaches.

Dual‐Mode Gripper With Suction and Shape‐Adaptive Freezing Grasps
This study presents a dual‐mode robotic gripper that combines vacuum suction with a shape‐adaptive freezing grasp. The freezing mode uses a compliant rubber membrane, a sprayed water layer, and dry‐ice powder to generate ice‐mediated adhesion while conforming to complex geometries.

Traumatic optic neuropathy: Surgical intervention improves vision and color perception
The most common cause of traumatic optic neuropathy (TON) is indirect injury to the optic nerve, which is thought to be the result of transmitted shock from an orbital impact to the intracanalicular portion of optic nerve.
