Architecture‐Driven Sensor Stability in Weft‐Knitted Engineering Textiles

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, Volume 28, Issue 19, 7 October 2026.
Textile‐integrated sensor architectures are systematically compared to evaluate their electromechanical behavior under combined mechanical and environmental loading. Pocket‐based integration exhibits stable and reproducible signals, whereas tunnel‐based routing shows higher sensitivity accompanied by increased variability.

Re‐evaluation of a soft crested Edmontosaurin, with implications for hadrosaurid life appearance and diversity

open access: yesThe Anatomical Record, Volume 309, Issue 10, Page 2636-2655, October 2026.
Abstract Hadrosaurid dinosaurs are generally regarded as “crested” or “non‐crested” depending on the presence or absence of a bony cranial crest. At least one supposedly “non‐crested” hadrosaur is known to have possessed a soft tissue cranial crest (or comb), based on an exceptionally preserved “mummified” specimen. Here we redescribe this specimen and

A Rare Case of Fatty Acid Hydroxylase‐Associated Neurodegeneration in a Pakistani Boy With a Homozygous FA2H Variant

open access: yesClinical Case Reports, Volume 14, Issue 10, October 2026.
ABSTRACT Fatty acid hydroxylase‐associated neurodegeneration (FAHN) is an ultra‐rare neurological disorder caused by a mutation in the FA2H gene. Defective production of this gene leads to abnormal myelin formation, which subsequently causes neurodegeneration and brain iron accumulation.

Suspected C5 Nerve Root Injury Temporally Associated With Stellate Ganglion Block for Refractory Insomnia: A Case Report

open access: yesClinical Case Reports, Volume 14, Issue 10, October 2026.
ABSTRACT Suspected C5 nerve root injury temporally associated with stellate ganglion block is uncommon, and causality may be uncertain. Immediate radiating shoulder pain, lateral upper‐arm numbness, and deltoid weakness require prompt cessation, neurological assessment, electrophysiological confirmation, neurotrophic treatment, and rehabilitation ...
