We report a case of Foster Kennedy Syndrome (FKS) caused by a frontal lobe tumor in which the optic disc (OD) shape was first monitored by optical coherence tomography (OCT) before and after tumor removal. Cx47 Phosphorylation Exacerbates White Matter Damage and Kainic Acid Induced Epilepsy
The upregulation of phosphorylated Cx47 (p‐Cx47), driven by CaM/CaMK‐dependent phosphorylation, plays a critical role in seizure progression in TLE. The CaMKII inhibitor KN93 suppressed Cx47, thereby reducing its phosphorylation, alleviating demyelination, and attenuating seizure progression.
