Frequency Stabilization of a Cesium Faraday Laser With a Double-Layer Vapor Cell as Frequency Reference

open access: yesIEEE Photonics Journal, 2022
We implement a compact optical frequency standard at the wavelength of 852 nm by the modulation transfer spectroscopy (MTS) technique, using a Faraday laser as the local oscillator and a double-layer cesium vapor cell to provide frequency reference.

Mechanisms of parasite‐mediated disruption of brain vessels

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Parasites can affect the blood vessels of the brain, often causing serious neurological problems. This review explains how different parasites interact with and disrupt these vessels, what this means for brain health, and why these processes matter. Understanding these mechanisms may help us develop better ways to prevent or treat brain infections in ...

Transcriptional network analysis of PTEN‐protein‐deficient prostate tumors reveals robust stromal reprogramming and signs of senescent paracrine communication

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Combining PTEN protein assessment and transcriptomic profiling of prostate tumors, we uncovered a network enriched in senescence and extracellular matrix (ECM) programs associated with PTEN loss and conserved in a mouse model. We show that PTEN‐deficient cells trigger paracrine remodeling of the surrounding stroma and this information could help ...
