The role of miR‐335‐5p in the redifferentiation of BRAF p.V600E thyroid cancers

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The BRAF p.V600E mutation promotes thyroid cancer dedifferentiation and radioiodine resistance. Using a network approach, we identified miR‐335‐5p as a key regulator of BRAF‐mutated thyroid tumors. Restoring miR‐335‐5p increased thyroid‐specific gene expression and iodine uptake in cells and organoids.

Predicting and Optimizing Gamma Voltage in OLED Display Manufacturing Through Sub-Pixel Crosstalk Modeling

open access: yesIEEE Access
The accuracy of low-luminance optical characteristics in OLED displays is a critical performance metric. This is especially important because the human eye is more sensitive to differences in color and brightness at low luminance levels than at high ...

Interferometric crosstalk reduction in an RSOA-based WDM passive optical network [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
Reflection and Rayleigh backscattering-induced interferometric crosstalk in a link employing a reflective semiconductor optical amplifier (RSOA) may cause significant power penalty and, thus, limit the performance of the system.

A novel quinazolinone insulin receptor inhibitor and its synergy with an EGFR inhibitor in glucose‐driven glioblastoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in

Inverse-designed ultra-compact high efficiency and low crosstalk optical interconnect based on waveguide crossing and wavelength demultiplexer

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2021
In this paper, we use the inverse design method to design an optical interconnection system composed of wavelength demultiplexer and the same direction waveguide crossing on silicon-on-insulator (SOI) platform.

Broadband Backhaul Communication for Stratospheric Platforms: The Stratospheric Optical Payload Experiment (STROPEX) [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
A high bitrate optical downlink was performed by the stratospheric optical payload experiment (STROPEX), a part of the EU CAPANINA project. The STROPEX objectives were to design and build the necessary hardware to demonstrate an optical backhaul downlink

Evaluating the involvement of autolysosomes in the nuclear translocation of fluorescent proteins

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Endogenously expressed fluorescent proteins can be degraded by autophagy and transported to cell nuclei via the nuclear pore complex. But in some cell lines, for example, HeLa cells which are positive for immunoreactivity of a receptor ligand, such as UCN I, in cell nuclei, fusion of autolysosome with the nuclear envelope is involved in the nuclear ...

High crosstalk suppression in InGaAs/InP single-photon avalanche diode arrays by carrier extraction structure

open access: yesNature Communications
Crosstalk has become an urgent issue for single-photon avalanche diode arrays. In previous work, trenches were introduced between pixels to block the crosstalk optical path in planar InGaAs/InP single-photon avalanche diode arrays, since the optical ...

IMPACT OF COHERENT AND INCOHERENT CROSSTALKS AND POWER PENALTY ON THE OPTICAL CROSSCONNECTS [PDF]

open access: yesICTACT Journal on Communication Technology, 2011
Optical cross-connects are one of the most important components in the dense wavelength division multiplexer based optical networks. The crossconnects suffer from crosstalk due to the different wavelength light path channels during the switching process ...

KDAC6 alters cell morphology and motility through positive and negative modulation of F‐actin distribution

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
KDAC6 has been associated with cell motility and actin structures, but specific domain contributions are not established. The two catalytic domains have differential effects on motility and F‐actin regulation, affecting cortical F‐actin density, motility, stress fibers, and cell spreading.
